Vaccine Update – January 29, 2021

When can I get the vaccine?
Some adults 75 and older have just started receiving the vaccine. Adults age 65 to 74 will begin in mid February. It will take some time for everyone in these groups to schedule appointments and get vaccinated. Please be patient and know that if you want a vaccine, you will be able to get one.

Can I sign up for vaccine?
Once you are eligible to receive the vaccine, you will receive information about how to register. You can count on this weekly Vaccine Update for important news.

Where can I get the vaccine?
Vaccine will be available at many locations, such as community clinics, housing sites, and pharmacies. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.

What if I’m not online?
We are using all methods to communicate – flyers, newspapers, online, radio, TV, and more. We are working with senior centers, cities and towns, and many other community partners to make sure you receive the right information.

Call RI’s healthy aging help desk, the Point, at 401-462-4444, to connect with your local senior center or to learn about other resources.
